The “Überseestadt” in Bremen, is one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. The area formerly used by Kellogg’s, is to be transformed into a new urban quarter. Offering room for commercial development, new educational infrastructure, leisure activities and public spaces in an attractive setting directly alongside the river Weser.
The architectural concept of DMAA, preserves the characteristic of the silos and the brick structure. Almost untouched, the existing Reishalle will be revived as a lively market place offering hip restaurants right on the waterfront.
