The basic concept behind this large education campus, is the idea of a huge ship on a river, in a former floodplain area that is connected to the green “shore area” by several “landing bridges”. The comb structure creates a protected outdoor space, adequate for small kids. It also supports the concept of entanglement between the green areas and the building’s elements. Our client POS architecture was able to win the 1st prize in this two-step competition, and has now started the construction of the campus building.
