The Project
A prestigious residential tower on the New Danube in Vienna. On the 46th to 49th floors, three exclusive penthouses ranging from 250 to 320 m². The building was designed by A01 Architekten, while Vienna-based studio Labvert developed the interior concept for the common areas — a spatial language that pays homage to the nearby river.
DESIGN PHASE
OLN partnered with Labvert throughout the design process for the building’s shared spaces — lobby, pool, bar area, and fitness room. Through iterative visualization, we helped refine and finalize the spatial concept, ensuring every detail aligned with the overarching vision. These visuals gave stakeholders a clear understanding of the finished spaces before construction began.
THE RESTAURANT
Three renderings — two interior, one exterior of the outdoor terrace — were produced to support the search for a restaurant operator. These visuals presented a clear, aspirational vision of the venue’s atmosphere and commercial potential, enabling potential partners to envision the opportunity.
TIMELAPSES
During our work on the project we recorded multiple cinematic time-lapses capturing the river’s flow and the shifting light over Vienna — from golden sunset to deep twilight. The sequences evoke the rhythm of life along the Danube and the unique atmosphere of life above the city, adding an emotional layer to the project’s visual identity.
THE FILM
For the penthouses, we collaborated directly with the client to stage one of the four residences — a full digital presentation including modelling, furnishing, and interior visualization. The goal: create a timeless, sophisticated atmosphere that allows potential buyers to envision life at the top of Vienna.
The cinematic film brings the penthouse experience to life. Photorealistic 3D interiors flow seamlessly into real drone footage of the tower and its surroundings, capturing the breathtaking panoramic views across Vienna, over the Danube, and toward the Kahlenberg. Time-lapse sequences trace the changing light from sunset to twilight, while location filming along the river evokes the vibrant summer atmosphere of the Neue Donau. All aerial and location footage was produced in-house. The film equipped the sales team with a powerful centrepiece for presentations and marketing campaigns.
